up on the moors
moors are a beautiful environment, although not completely natural
they are delicate systems maintained by sheep grazing, a cause of the original Highland Clearances
followed by further displacements of people for the 'sport' of shooting and hunting (more info)
a couple of the new tenants
clear enough to see for miles, despite the clouds marching overhead

gentle textures and colours in a muted landscape
Roy as a '60s flower child
rippling fields in the fading light
relaxing in the heather
that sainted dog again, leading us on to a brighter future
some Blackface sheep - for variety
by a standing stone, as the day's light faded away
